myQSL.org Characters: Rednecks! When you think of the country you might sometimes think of antisocial technophobes. But Rednecks were all over the airwaves in the CB heyday! I call these ones Rednecks with the greatest love and respect, only because it's obvious that CBers weren't shy about their rural roots. It was so common to put a redneck on your QSL card that I almost wonder if some of them weren't redneck posers and imposters!!! Keep an eye on the state--if you see one from Canada they're probably rural people who wish they had Redneck Pride! Now these Rednecks are not idle folk, and they spill over into many of the other categories--Fishermen, Hunters, Farmers, even Hoboes! So basically I took a look at these folks and decided that whatever else was going on with them, they were Rednecks Uber Alles. If we're talking bout The South you might want to see the Confederate section and the Local/Regional section too.
